Geek Pictures Inc expanded expanded into Singapore, Shanghai, Bangkok, and New Delhi, growing its network across Asia.
Geek Pictures India was launched in 2019 as the South Asian extension of this vision. It began with Geek Studio, a media production vertical. The company later expanded into the art space with Galerie Geek Art—a contemporary gallery based in Tokyo and New Delhi that foregrounds experimental practices and cross-cultural dialogue. From 2019 to 2022, we represented the Gallery of Emmanuel Perrotin in India, introducing several leading international artists. In 2020, we also facilitated Takashi Murakami’s landmark visit to India. Through exhibitions, institutional collaborations, and bespoke advisory, Galerie Geek Art positions itself as a vital platform for cultural exchange and convergence.
It also ventured into IP Trade and Licensing, with a strong focus on the distribution of culturally resonant content. A key milestone was the successful pan-India theatrical re-release of Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama across 600+ screens - the biggest release ever in India for a Japanese film.
Today, Geek Pictures India operates across three verticals—media production, contemporary art, and global content—with a unified purpose: to shape stories, spaces, and experiences that connect, captivate, and endure.
