Introduction
Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama is an Indo-Japanese anime that was distributed theatrically across India for the first time in 4K Ultra HD by Geek Pictures, AA Films and Excel Entertainment on 24th January, 2025.
The film was localised for regional audiences, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu that were produced by Geek Pictures. At 600+ screens, Geek Pictures set a record by giving the film the largest ever release for Japanese content in India.
The film had a theatrical run of 12 weeks.
